Welcome!
The Complete Network of Sweden - netreg.se - is a research project concerned with the extraction and analysis of the complete network of social exposure between all individuals in Sweden. Funded by the Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet) in the form of a large research environment between 2025-2030, our research team consists of scholars from both the social sciences as well as computer science, combining solid subject-specific social-scientific expertise with advanced computational and network-scientific approaches. Using swedish register data, our aim is to conceptualize, construct, extract and analyze full-population networks of social exposure to better understand the structural state of Sweden: how far away are individuals with different backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses from each other? What are the historical trends of such distances? How do certain social exposures relate to choices and situations later on in life? These are all issues addressed by this project.
